Know your vessel before you book
Spot On Marine operates a 50 tonne travel lift with a 6.1 metre wide beam. These equipment figures are a starting point for an enquiry; the team needs to confirm your individual vessel is suitable. Send your overall length, beam, draft and current vessel weight, along with the vessel type and any available lifting information. If a measurement is uncertain, say so rather than estimating it as a confirmed figure.
Build the lift around the work
A short visit for cleaning and inspection needs a different plan from an extended maintenance stay. List the work you already know about and flag anything that needs a closer look once the hull is exposed. Ask about water blasting, hardstand availability and your preferred return-to-water date together, so the visit can be discussed as one job.
Before you arrive
Confirm arrival arrangements directly with the yard. Have your contact details and vessel information ready, and tell the team about appendages, equipment or access considerations that may affect handling. If another person will deliver the boat or manage work ashore, make that clear when you enquire. Avoid arranging dependent work until the lift and yard arrangements have been confirmed.
